Vegetarian pizza on rye base
Pizza on rye base is ideal for evening meetings with friends and a healthy alternative to fast food. The use of vegetables, mushrooms and mozzarella makes it a wholesome meal.
Ingredients (dough):
- 200 g rye flour
- 100 g coarse ground flour
- 120 ml warm water
- 10 g yeast
- 1 tbs olive oil
- Italian Seasoning
- Salt, sugar, pepper
Topping:
- 1/2 jar of tomato concentrate
- 200 g broccoli
- 200 g mushrooms
- 50 g canned corn
- 1 onion
- 1 ball of mozzarella cheese
- Fresh basil
Sieve both types of flour into a large bowl and mix together. Add crushed yeast, a pinch of salt and sugar and oil. Beat all the ingredients until everything is combined (the dough shouldn't be sticky). Then set it aside for about an hour in a warm place (rye dough rises slower than wheat dough).
After one hour roll the dough out to a thickness of about 1.5-2 cm. Then put it into a baking sheet, spread with tomato concentrate and season with italian seasoning and pepper. On the pizza we put the following extras: broccoli roses, mushrooms, onion, corn and mozzarella cheese.
Bake in an oven preheated to 180°C for approx. 30 minutes. At the end decorate with fresh, aromatic basil.
