Prawns and chorizo salad

The combination of seafood and meat may seem controversial, but see for yourself that a salad with prawns and chorizo ​​sausage is really good! Crustaceans, apart from the unique taste and high content of protein, are also a source of B complex vitamins and microelements, including selenium, fluorine and zinc.

Ingredients:

  • 6 tiger shrimps
  • 40 g chorizo sausage
  • 1/2 orange
  • 40 g blue cheese
  • Two large handfuls of salad mix
  • Clarified butter
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 tbs pumpkin seeds
  • Chili flakes
  • Salt and pepper
  • Olive oil (optional)

Sauté the prawns in butter, add the pressed garlic and a pinch of chili flakes, gently season with salt and pepper. Slice the blue cheese into strips and cut the chorizo into very thin slices. Peel orange from the skin and white fibers and divide it into small pieces. Place a mix of salad on a plate, orange, cheese, chorizo and warm prawns. Sprinkle everything with roasted pumpkin seeds and pour it with olive oil.

It is best served with bread and white dry wine.
