Millet porridge with forest fruits

The unique taste of forest fruits gives the charm to even the simplest food. The same goes for our beloved millet grains – combined with blueberries and wild strawberries it creates a beautiful, colourful dessert that not only attracts the eye but also seduces the palate with its forest taste.

Ingredients:

  • 50 g millet grains
  • 20 g rice flakes
  • 50 g fresh blueberries
  • 25 g wild strawberries
  • 1 tbs roasted almonds
  • 1 tsp honey

Cook the millet over low heat, slowly stirring to prevent it from burning. After 10 minutes add a tablespoon of honey, rice flakes and washed berries (leave a few for decoration). Cook the mixture for another 5 minutes. The millet should change to a beautiful, purple color. Put the mixture into a small bowl, sprinkle with the remaining fruits and almonds.
